- A personalised book of fifty reasons you love someone, one reason per page, with a dedication in your own words.

- 21.6 cm (8.5 in) square.
- Formats
- A digital book (a flipbook link and a PDF), a softcover, or a hardcover with a matte finish. Printed books include the digital book.
- Inside
- A title page, your dedication, fifty reasons and illustrations of your people through the book. A printed copy ends with a ruled page for you to write a fifty-first reason by hand.
- Illustration
- Storybook, Watercolour, Paper cut and Linocut styles, or your people drawn as animals (bears, otters, penguins, rabbits, foxes and ducks). The character builder covers skin tones, hair textures, glasses, head coverings, hearing aids, wheelchairs, freckles, vitiligo, grey hair and pets.
- Writing
- You answer questions about real moments. We draft reasons from your answers, and you keep, change or rewrite every one.
- Preview
- You read every page before ordering a printed copy, and nothing is printed until you approve it.
- Printing
- Printed to order by our print partner in the UK, the US, Canada and Australia, close to the person receiving it. EU orders go through our Etsy shop for now.

- Because every book is personalised, we can't take returns if you simply change your mind.

How much does a Darling Reasons book cost?+
The digital book is £9 in the UK and $12 in the US, the softcover £22 ($29) and the hardcover £39 ($49). Printed books include the digital book. Delivery is extra and shown before you pay.
How long does a printed book take to arrive?+
7 to 9 working days in the UK and 10 to 12 working days in the US, including printing, with faster express delivery in both. The digital book opens as soon as you pay. Every country is on our delivery page.
Can I see every page before it's printed?+
Yes. You read the whole book, cover to cover, and change any word or picture before you order a printed copy. Nothing is printed until you approve it.
Can I order now and write the book later?+
Yes. You can pay first and get a link to make the book on any device, whenever suits you. If it's never approved, you're refunded in full 30 days after paying.
Can several people write one book together?+
Yes, as a group book. You send one link to the family, class or team, everyone writes a reason or two signed with their name, and you choose the fifty that go in.
What happens if my book arrives damaged?+
Tell us within 30 days of delivery and we'll reprint it free or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. Because every book is personalised, we can't take returns if you simply change your mind.
Are the reasons written by AI?+
The reasons come from you. You answer questions about real moments, and a writing assistant (an AI language model) turns your answers into first drafts using only what you told us. You keep, change or rewrite every reason, and nothing is printed until you've approved it all. The illustrations are made with image tools from the characters you build, then checked against your choices.
